Carla
Peery
Carla Peery brings a refreshingly new perspective to sewing
and fashion/fabric embellishment with her enthusiasm and knowledge. All
levels of sewers and creative fabric artist's benefit from the easy, fun,
and simple techniques Carla teaches in her seminars and hands-on
workshops. Step-by-step she nurtures them to a clear understand of the
how, what and why, enabling them to take what they learn in class and
apply it to a variety of sewing or embellishment situations.
Carla is an active teacher, lecturer, and author,
specializing in fabric/fashion embellishment. Her depth of knowledge and
entertaining manner of instruction makes her a popular and respected
speaker. She has appeared at the Sew Expo in Puyallup, Washington, where
her lectures made learning a pleasure. Carla and Maggie Backman
co-authored two books,

Palmer/Pletsch book, Bridal Gowns

contributing author for several sewing magazines.
